driving directions — From Persimmon Gap Visitor Center drive 13 miles south on the Main Park Road. Turn left on gravel Dagger Flat Road. Follow for 2 miles and turn right on Old Ore Road. This is a primitive road only recommended for four-wheel drive high clearance vehicles. Follow it for approximately 7.4 miles and turn left into campground side road and follow for about 150 feet. Plan for at least one hour for the drive. Alternative access is 19 miles via the south end of Old Ore Road.
