hiking directions (for backcountry) — On AT northbound, from Kittatinny Point Visitors Center (at the Delaware River), backpack northeast along the AT a little over 3 miles (or about 4.7 miles from New Jersey state line). From AT southbound, it is 1/4 mile south of Sunfish Pond. From the state park's east camping area's parking, follow the Douglas Trail south 1.7 miles to the AT, then go left (east) for short distance.
